03.07 VOLUNTEERS' LUNCHEON

"(i) Australia Day Awards
THAT a dinner be held for Award recipients and their immediate family in the evening prior to Australia Day AND THAT Councillors, selected Council staff, the previous year's Award recipients, and their partners, be invited to attend the dinner.

FURTHER, THAT the Mayor and General Manager be authorised to decide on a venue appropriate for the number of guests attending the function.

(ii) Citizenship Ceremony
THAT the Citizenship Ceremony and preceding breakfast be held at the Aquatic Leisure Centre and that previous Award recipients be invited to attend.

THAT the time of the Ceremony allow for Members to be involved in the Botany Bay Regatta, if they so wish, and be determined at a later date.

(iii) Volunteers
THAT a light luncheon and entertainment be provided in the Marana Auditorium, in conjunction with Volunteers Week in May if possible, to thank the volunteers for their contribution to the community.

FURTHER, THAT Tickets for the luncheon be limited due to capacity and that the number be determined at a later date."
